Copyright Infringement Procedures
Last Updated: December 30, 2024
Aiming Records respects intellectual property rights. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing copyright infringement claims under the DMCA and UK copyright law.
1. Copyright Agent
To report copyright infringement, contact us at [email protected] with subject "Copyright Claim".
2. Filing a Copyright Claim
To file a copyright infringement claim, provide your signature, identification of your copyrighted work, identification of the infringing material (artist name, release title, track names, URLs), your contact information, a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.
3. Our Response
Upon receiving a valid copyright claim, we will investigate, contact the user who uploaded the content, and if the claim is valid, remove or disable access to the infringing material, initiate takedown from streaming platforms, and withhold related royalties. If the user files a counter-notice, we will forward it to you.
4. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may file a counter-notice to [email protected] with your signature, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, your contact information, and consent to jurisdiction. We will forward your counter-notice to the complainant. If they do not file a lawsuit, we may restore your content. If a lawsuit is filed, the content remains down until resolved by court.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts for repeat copyright infringement. Repeated violations may result in forfeiture of unpaid royalties.
