Anti-Fraud Policy

Protecting the Music Ecosystem

Last Updated: December 30, 2024

Aiming Records is committed to maintaining the integrity of the music distribution ecosystem. Streaming fraud harms artists, platforms, and the entire industry. This policy outlines what constitutes fraud and our enforcement approach.

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use bots, click farms, or automated tools to generate artificial streams. You may not purchase streams, plays, followers, or playlist placements from third-party services. You may not create multiple accounts, coordinate inauthentic streaming, or manipulate playlists to inflate numbers.

2. Detection and Enforcement

We monitor for fraudulent activity through platform reports, automated systems that detect anomalous streaming patterns, and manual review of flagged accounts. Streaming platforms also independently monitor for fraud and may penalize accounts without our involvement.

If fraud is detected, we may issue warnings, suspend your account, remove content from platforms, withhold royalties, terminate your account, or forfeit unpaid earnings. We reserve the right to take action at our sole discretion based on the severity of the violation. We are obligated to cooperate with platform investigations and must comply with their enforcement actions.

3. Platform Consequences

Streaming platforms impose their own penalties for fraud, including content removal, profile suspension, withholding of royalties, and bans from future uploads. Platforms may also pursue legal action for fraud and contract violations. We have no control over platform enforcement decisions and must comply with their actions.

4. Appeals and Reporting

If you believe you were flagged in error, you may submit a written appeal to [email protected] with supporting evidence. Appeals do not guarantee reinstatement, and our decision is final. You may also appeal directly to affected streaming platforms.

If you suspect another artist is engaged in streaming fraud, you can report it to [email protected] with the artist name, release URLs, and description of suspicious activity. All reports are investigated confidentially.
